Digital Preliminary Round

Admission to the Masterclass: Minimum Piano Level: Grade 5

Limited to 5 students only.

Please submit a video showcasing your favorite étude piece.

Applicants will be notified within one week regarding their admission status via email.

Preparation for the Concert

Before arriving in Berlin, participants should prepare a total of 30 – 40 minutes of music (1 to 3 pieces). These pieces will be showcased during the first day of the masterclass. The preparation of these selections is crucial, as it sets the foundation for their development throughout the program and the culminating public concert in Berlin.

Berlin Schedule

Day 1-3: Introduction and Coaching

– Meet fellow students and showcase your work.  

– Collaborate with Miwa to develop concert concepts.  

– Personalized one-on-one coaching for each pianist.  

 Kick off the masterclass with insights into effective performance practices.

Day 4: Focused Self-Practice

– Engage in solo practice sessions with ongoing support.

Refine your technique and performance expression with expert guidance

Day 5: Rehearsal and Concert

  – Showcase your growth and performance skills in a live concert setting.  

Experience the culmination of your hard work in front of an audience.
