Miwa’s Story
Miwa Hoyano is an internationally acclaimed pianist from Japan, inspiring audiences across Europe, the United States, and Asia with her passionate artistry and unique musical voice. Beginning her musical journey at the age of four, she studied at the prestigious Tokyo College of Music and perfected her craft at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media under Prof. Bernd Goetzke.
Her talent has been recognized with numerous international prizes, including the IBLA Grand Prize at the International Music Competition in Italy, leading to her celebrated debut at Carnegie Hall in New York. Miwa has performed at renowned festivals such as Ticino Musica, Musica Riva, and the Bangkok International Piano Festival, complemented by broadcasts from the Concertgebouw Amsterdam.
